Flight Lieutenant Rebecca Pritchett

Officer Commanding 233 Squadron

 

Rebecca has been an Instructor since 2009 having voluntered to help run activities for the Cadets on 187 (Worcester) Squadron. She transfered to 233 Squadron in late 2009 along with WO Pritchett.

 

She was appointed to the Rank of Sergeant (ATC) in July 2012. In March 2015 Rebecca passed Officer and Aircrew Selection (OASC) at RAF Cranwell, subsequently being appointed Officer Cadet. After passing her Officer Initial Course at RAF Crawell she was commisssioned as Pilot Officer RAFVR(T) . Subsequently appointed Officer Commanding in April 2016 and promoted to Flight Lieutenant.

 

A qualfied First Aider and Duke of Edinburgh Award Assessor, is the Squadron Commander and also manages the cadets undertaking the Duke of Edinburgh Award and also instructs the Cadets in Youth and Activity First Aid courses.

 

Rebecca is married to WO Pritchett.

 

Warrant Officer David Pritchett

Squadron Warrant Officer, Drill Instructor, Security Officer, Shooting Officer.

 

WO (ATC) Pritchett has been the Senior NCO on 233 Squadron since November 2009 and Squadron Warrant Officer since March 2012 having previously served as Senior NCO on two other Squadrons in the Corps

 

A former Cadet Warrant Officer he was appointed as a SNCO in the rank of Sergeant in May 2004 subesquently being promoted to Flight Sergeant in 2008 and Warrant Officer in 2012. He has also served on the following Squadrons:

561 (Aberystywth) Squadron - Welsh No.3 Wing

187 (Worcester) Squadron - West Mercian Wing

 

David is also a qualified Drill Instructor, Expedition Leader, Duke of Edinburgh Award Assessor, First Aider, Weapons Instructor and Range Conducting Officer.

 

He is married to Flt Lt Rebecca Pritchett.

 

Sergeant Oliver Pike

Squadron Adjutant & Fieldcraft Instructor

 

Sgt Pike is a former Cadet Sergeant with 233 Squadron and former RAF Regular. After leaving the Royal Air Force, he has rejoined 233 Squadron as an Adult Instructor taking on the role of Squadron Adjutant.

 

A former Cadet Sergeant with 233 Squadron he was appointed as a Civilian Instructor with 233 Squadron in April 2017. In September 2017 he was appointed Sergeant.

 

Oliver is a qualified instructor, First Aider and holds Kayaking qualifications. Using his previous training with the Royal Air Force Regiment he helps instruct the cadets in Fieldcraft.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Rev Rick Tett

Squadron Chaplain

 

Padre Tett is currently the Chaplain for 233 Squadron offering Moral Guidance and Support to the Cadets on the Unit, he also helps to teach the Core Values of the RAF (Respect, Integrity, Service and Excellence)

 

Padre Tett has a long history with the Armed Forces, having previously served as a Royal Marine Commando. Upon leaving the Royal Marines he rejoined the forces this time in the Royal Air Force Regiment where he served as a Corporal.

 

Padre Tett was appointed Squadron Chaplain in June 2017.

 

 

 

 

 

Mr Tim Cutler

Civilian Instructor - Squadron Training Officer

 

Mr Cutler is the Squadron's Training Officer and is responsible for delivering the BTEC in Aviation Studies syllabus. He manages the Squadrons Instructor Cadets to make sure the syllabus is delivered effectively allowing the cadets to achieve the qualifcation.

 

Tim is a qualified Instructor and First Aider

Mrs Rebecca Ward

Civilian Instructor - Adventure Training Officer

 

Mrs Ward is the Squadron's Adventure Traning Officer responsible for the Squadrons outdoor activities and training including our DofE Expeditions.

 

Rebecca is a qualified Lowland Leader, DofE Supervisor, DofE Assessor, and First Aider.

 

Mr Phil Turton

Civilian Instructor - Supply Officer, Physical Training Instructor

 

Mr Turton is the Squadron's Supply Officer responsible for all Squadron property and equipment, ensuring that all activities have the neccessary items as well as supplying the Cadets with their uniforrms.

 

He is also responsible for Sports and Physical Training on the Squadron, running the monthly training nights and instructing the cadets in fitness and activities.
